Beit Asaph Messianic Congregation is building a culturally diverse community of Israeli believers on the principles of God with a heart to reach the lost in their city.
Read about the ministry ›Netanya is one of the most rapidly developing parts of Israel, with a diverse cultural mix of people resulting from decades of immigration. This community needs a solid biblical foundation and a community that facilitates and equips growth to be an effective disciple in Israel.
Beit Asaph helps their largely immigrant congregation develop an Israeli identity through services that are characteristically Jewish and recognizably Messianic, while supporting them with language-specific home groups for ease of study and fellowship. Not only do they provide a comprehensive, spiritual education system for their children and youth, but they also have a vibrant women’s ministry and social outreach programs serving the elderly, disabled, and needy.
Beit Asaph Messianic Congregation was established in 1979 when two home groups united, forming what is now a solid community of Israeli and immigrant believers with a strong Jewish identity. Beit Asaph is passionate about building effective disciples who are grounded in God’s Word and reflect the heart of the Kingdom to society.
Evan Thomas and Lev Guler are the Senior Pastors of Beit Asaph Messianic Congregation. Evan and his wife, Maala, immigrated to Israel from New Zealand in 1983 and have one daughter. Lev and his wife, Ora, immigrated to Israel from Russia in 1994 and have five children.
