Tsur Institute challenges Israelis to read the Bible and equips them to do so. A combination of literary understanding and an open heart is the key to hearing the voice of God.
Through articles, podcasts and published materials, the ministry engages the public and directs the curious ones in how to explore and go deeper with the Bible. Those interested in pursuing their God-given calling receive mentorship and a place to serve in a local congregation (with the agreement and under the supervision of their congregational leadership).

Tsur Institute
Tsur Institute was founded with the goal to promote deep engagement with the Bible through study, research, and the sharing of insights. The institute offers tools for personal study, in-depth articles, and brief words of encouragement to make the Bible accessible and meaningful. We also seek to encourage the reading of the New Testament and to highlight the deep connection that exists between the New Testament and the Tanach (the Hebrew Bible). Our approach allows the biblical text to speak for itself and guide readers to its meaning without imposing preconceived assumptions.

About the Leadership
Yohanan Stanfield is a pastor in Modi’in and is the founder of the discipleship/bible school program called Lech L’cha. He holds an MA in History of the People of Israel and a PhD in Biblical Studies, both from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. He has published a book on allusions of the Book of Isaiah to Deuteronomy 32 in Hebrew, which was published with Magnus Press. Yohanan is married to Amy, and they have three children.
