The Feast of Tabernacles, or Sukkot, is a Jewish holiday. We celebrate Sukkot by building temporary dwellings, or tabernacles, and sleeping in them outside for seven days. Each temporary dwelling is called a “sukkah” in Hebrew, hence the festival’s title “Sukkot.”
