The Letter to Romans has been one of the best-known books of the Bible for Christians throughout the centuries. In Romans 10:9, it famously reads: “If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” From this verse, we get the basis for professing Jesus and coming into a saving relationship with God.
But many believers are less familiar with the powerhouse of Scripture surrounding this core verse. Romans chapters 9-11 contain profound theology about God’s sovereignty, choice, and His plan for both Jews and Gentiles. The chapters address questions about God’s chosen people, the role of faith, and how God’s promises to Israel fit into His plan for all nations. We are seeing the evidence of His spirit leading more and more believers to this passage.
For our organization, these three chapters have been the most instrumental in birthing our vision to see a day where every person in Israel is transformed by the love of Yeshua. We pray you too are blessed as you go through the Romans Revealed #3ChapterChallenge, and read Romans 9, 10 and 11.
