Influencing Community and Building Relationships Through Sports
Sports have a way of exposing the “real” us. In the challenges and perseverance of training and competition – character becomes transparent. It is this environment that opens doors of opportunity for sports to build real relationships and influence.
Our sports center is an academy specializing in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Our goal is to provide a fun and safe environment where people of all levels, from recreational to competitive, can train and reach their goals. In this environment, deep relationships and genuine social impact take place naturally – and lives are transformed.

Brazilian Sports and Culture Center in Jerusalem
The Brazilian Sports and Culture Center is a non-profit organization that recognizes sport as a complete culture, involving physical, emotional and spiritual needs. Sports have the capacity to inspire us and make us dream. They can both impress and influence as we see athletes and coaches apply biblical principles to overcome challenges and strive towards victory – in practice and competition. Our work is about meeting the Israeli society where it’s at, building bridges between people of different backgrounds. We aim to impact the society by using sports as a tool to bring peace and build deep relations among the Israeli community.

About the Leadership
Fabio Schucman is a Brazilian-Israeli Jewish believer. With his wife Batel, they have five children. Fabio has extensive experience in business management and more than 26 years of experience as an athlete and coach of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ).
