A first look at the project

Arie Bar David teaching on location in Israel

The teacher behind the teachers

Meet Arie Bar David

Arie Bar David has walked this land for nearly eighty years — first as a believer, a student, a musician, a paratrooper, a carpenter. For the last forty, he's walked it as a professional guide, leading pastors, ministry leaders, and believers from around the world through the places Scripture happened.

That range is the reason his teaching sounds the way it does. He's an Israeli Messianic Jew standing at the meeting place of the Jewish roots of the faith and the global Church that grew from them — and every one of those earlier lives still shapes how he explains a hillside, a word, a passage. His influence already reaches beyond his own tours, through Zola Levitt Presents, Crossroads Church, and decades of training the next generation of Israeli guides. If a teacher has ever shown you Scripture from the place it happened, there's a good chance the method traces back to Arie.

Why now

This isn't another video project.
It's a preservation project.

Arie is in his seventies, and this teaching lives in him — in the connections between a hillside, a Hebrew word, and a passage of Scripture that only someone who has spent a lifetime in both languages and both traditions can make. It doesn't transfer to the next generation on its own. Captured now, it becomes a permanent gift to the global Church. Left uncaptured, it ends with him.

Filmed and made accessible online, this teaching reaches the pastor, the student, and the small-group leader who will never stand on that hillside in person — and it keeps reaching them, indefinitely.

What we're building

A filmed library of on-location teaching — accessible to anyone, anywhere

The first filming is already complete: five days on location across Israel, roughly forty hours of teaching captured — the Gospel of John, Arie's signature orientation to the land itself, and a set of shepherding studies filmed on the hillsides they describe. What remains is finishing it: editing, producing, and releasing this first series to the world, at no cost to anyone who watches.

We invite you to be a founding partner in preserving Arie's teaching — finishing the Gospel of John, and launching the series still to come.
